I was born and raised in Knoxville, TN and earned a degree in Social Work but now I am a working artist, specializing in large acrylic and mixed media paintings. After joining AmeriCorps to help establish Beardsley Farm in the late 90’s, my interest in all things food related piqued. For decades, my #1 passion/obsession has been cooking food and trying out new cuisines, watching food shows and exploring restaurants all over the world. I travel with Carolina Reaper hot sauce in my purse.
